Stellar* - Violent

This is really the story of two talented singer/songwriter sisters.
One, Boh, was a pink haired rock singer, at the front of her band Stellar*
The other, Bic, was a melodic, and deep pop singer. The Runga sisters were inhabitants of Christchuch when they first started recording but like most NZ singers they drifted north to Auckland.




Boh Runga is also a released her own successful successful jewellry designer with her designs endorsed by New Zealand mint. In 2009 Boh released her first solo album,' Right Here' to critical acclaim. Serj Tankian, System Of A Down, and part time resident of New Zealand, guest vocals on a track Be Careful.

Bic Runga
Bic has released three successful albums - Drive, Beautiful Collision, and Birds - the most recent going triple platinum. both Elton John and Jimmy Page count themselves as fans of Bic's.

If you ever were a viewer of television show, Dawson's Creek, this was the song at the moment when Joey realised she loved Dawson, and Dawson realised he loved Joey. And, tragically, it was also used in American Pie. Sweet, clear, beautiful voice.

Something Good (2002) Sound is a little distorted. Note the bucket fountain. This is in Wellington. It is the fountain that a certain blue eyed 'hobbit', whom will go unnamed, urinated in while filming LOTR - a hobbit that was suitably embarrassed when informed of the great affection the locals have for the kitsch, tippy thing.

And yes, Boh and Bic do look very much alike. And both write their own songs.
