Flight of the Conchords is a comedy-music duo from Wellington. Made up of Jemaine Clements, and Brett McKenzie, the early prototype for the HBO television series was their radio play which aired on BBC2 in England.
Ladies of the World...well you just have to listen with an open mind. It's comedy.
Jemaine has long been a writer of comedy, having written and appeared in a number of local programmes and films.
Bret performed with well known award winning local reggae band, The Black Seeds, on keyboards, for a number of years; put out a solo album under the name of The Video Kid; and apppeared in two of the three LOTR films, as the fan named character, Figwit. (As an aside, Bret's father played Elendil.)
